5 Years in the Pink!!

In 2006, Judy Cherry, a participant in all Avon Foundation Breast Cancer events, envisioned this program and enlisted the help of Marylou Cartobino, successful recruiter of corporations for charitable events, to develop and execute, the program.

The program was launched across the USA in 2006, and we have added Dining Out for A Cure programs in other cities around the USA. So check back often to see if your city is hosting a Dining Out for a Cure event. There is a place for every palate and pocketbook! We have added Golf Outings, Bar Bashes, and Wine Tastings, too.

Restaurants

Each restaurant has generously agreed to donate a percentage of receipts on their given day. Each check is made out to the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer.

100% of all funds raised goes directly to the Avon Foundation Breast Cancer Crusade.

Avon Foundation Breast Cancer Crusade - The Avon Walk for Breast Cancer

The focus is on reaching the medically underserved population, including minorities, the poor, elderly, under– and uninsured, with a mission to fund access to care and finding a cure for breast cancer. To date, the Avon Crusade has returned more than $500,000,000 net to breast cancer research and care organizations worldwide.
